Abortion and Pregnancy Counseling

You’re pregnant! Now what?

Once you have a pregnancy confirmation, you now have many options to choose from. It can be overwhelming facing all of it at once. You may already have your decision made, or you may be considering options you never thought you would. We are here to help, no matter what choice you make, or what options you are considering.
  • Are you considering abortion?

  • Step one: Have you taken a pregnancy test yet? Have you had your home pregnancy test confirmed? There are many reasons to miss a period, or other reasons for feeling pregnancy symptoms. It is vital to have your pregnancy test confirmed, or to have a medical grade pregnancy test performed.

  • Step two: Is the pregnancy viable? This means it is located inside the uterus (where it is supposed be) and has a heartbeat (in otherwise “normal” conditions, this pregnancy could go full term). It is also vitally important to determine gestational age of the pregnancy (how far along you are) as this may or may not limit your options when considering abortion. An ultrasound is a highly effective tool in determining your health and safety as well. If all these markers are not met, an abortion should not be performed, and medical attention should be attained.

  • Step three: Call us! Our counselors are here to walk with you and review your abortion options. Each procedure is different and varies based on how far along you are and what your personal preferences are. Your counselor will review your options, so that you have all the tools you need to make the best decision for you!
